July 29, 2021 at 5:56 a.m.
For the second show in Rye Brook’s summer Concerts in the Park series, Andrea and the Armenian Rug Riders perform at Pine Ridge Park on Wednesday, July 28, from 7 to 9 p.m. The concerts are open to the public and are postponed in the event of rain.
Anette Fumarelli-DeMaio (right), her daughter Melissa Sara DeMaio, their dog Snoopy, Elisabeth Slifkin, Donna Slifkin, Carol Sposato and Don Mahncke drove out early from Dobbs Ferry to get a good spot on the lawn at Pine Ridge Park.
Rye Brook residents Amy Silver (left), Ellen Chasanoff and their spouses Scott Chasanoff and Paul Silver came out on a double date to see the live concert.
Andrea and the Armenian Rug Riders lead guitarist John Scavelli and drummer Brett Roberts stay in sync as they play Stealers Wheel’s classic “Stuck in the Middle with You.”
Bassist and backup vocalist Ric Lubell echoes the chorus lines as lead vocalist Andrea Ekizian sings Tommy Tutone’s “867-5309 / Jenny.”
