Frolicking in the all-too-infrequent snow

Ten-year-old Nicholas Alfaro of Hillcrest Avenue (green hat); Billy Larreategui, 11, of Maywood Avenue; Lucas Cataina, 10, of Hobart Avenue; Lorenzo Sirena, 11, of Indian Road (red hat) and Daniel DeFreitas, 10, of North Regent Street (red hair) push a huge snowball they created with the help of Chris, one of their dads, at Crawford Park Tuesday afternoon when almost every inch of the park was covered with people of all ages sliding, snowshoeing, making snow figures and just frolicking in the white stuff that comes all too infrequently and in lesser quantities than it used to.
