Six local houses rewarded for their Halloween decor

Six houses were chosen as winners in the Village of Port Chester second Halloween Decorating Contest. Over 20 houses were nominated and six were selected.
The Recreation Commission members judged the houses on Oct. 24. Winners received a small gift card which was delivered to their homes on Halloween.
The winning houses were 11 W. Glen Ave., 52 Hawthorne Ave. corner of Irenhyl Avenue, 81 Hillcrest Ave., 105 Betsy Brown Rd., 229 N. Regent St. and 271 King St.
