Drugs found on litterer

Port Chester police officers claim they found drugs on a 52-year-old man after he was stopped for littering on Wednesday, Aug. 14.
According to Police Captain Charles Nielsen, Julio Mayen was cited for littering in downtown Port Chester at 6:51 p.m. and became uncooperative during the interaction. As a result, he was brought to the police station to be processed. Police claim cocaine was found in Mayen’s wallet as officers performed a routine search.
The 47 Nicola Pl. resident was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
