P.C. woman charged in stabbing

A resident of 70 Purdy Ave. was arrested on Thursday, Aug. 15, after she allegedly stabbed a man four times.
According to the police report, a Port Chester police officer was dispatched to White Plains Hospital on Aug. 11 because a White Plains officer believed a walk-in patient had been stabbed in Port Chester.
Police claim the man was uncooperative during questioning. However, the person who drove the victim to the hospital allegedly told officers he had been involved in an altercation with a man at the Weber Drive Housing Complex at 2:30 a.m.
According to the police report, a woman retaliated after the altercation by stabbing the victim four times in the upper body.
Police claim the other man involved in the initial fight was unwilling to speak with officers, but a warrant was issued for the arrest of the woman, Renita Santos.
The 44-year-old was charged with assault in the second degree, a felony.
