R.B. man damages spouse’s property

A Country Ridge Drive man was arrested on Sunday, Aug. 25, after he allegedly damaged a family member's cell phone during an argument.
According to Rye Brook Police Lieutenant J. Arnold, the victim went to the police station at 11:04 a.m. to report their spouse had cracked the glass on their phone during an argument.
Officers traveled to the home and spoke with the 48-year-old suspect. Arnold said since the property damage was the result of a domestic incident, he was arrested.
The man was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, a misdemeanor.
