Port Chester police officers reported to the corner of Westchester Avenue and Waterfront Place after receiving a call from the victim of an alleged assault at 4:46 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1.

The man alleged he had been attacked by his companions after a night out drinking.

Jahari Farrell of White Plains and Nyquel Fields of Stamford, Conn., met with the victim at a bar in Stamford earlier that night and took a cab to a bar in Port Chester to stay out later, according to the police report.

The three were waiting for a car to take them home when Farrell, 28, and Fields, 26, allegedly became irate and suddenly attacked the victim. Farrell allegedly took the victim’s $800 cell phone and shattered it by throwing it across the street.

The men were located nearby and arrested.

Both men were charged with assault in the third degree, a misdemeanor. Farrell was also charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, a felony.
