On a cold winter day last Saturday, Dec. 14, with the trees barren of leaves, it was possible to see from beyond security fences the remains of the former Doral Arrowwood Resort and Conference Center at 975 Anderson Hill Rd.—a few piles of rubble with the foundation still in place. The property’s future now depends on Fortress Investment, the firm that took it over in a foreclosure auction Nov. 8 from former owner, Charles Cohen.
