A resident of a home near Lincoln Avenue called Rye Brook police officers to request assistance with his daughter on Saturday, June 1.

Upon arrival at 9:09 a.m., officers discovered the 53-year-old woman was allegedly violating a protection order by being on the premises and they moved to arrest her. The woman allegedly resisted the attempt but was restrained shortly afterwards.

She was charged with violating a protection order, obstructing governmental administration and criminal contempt, all misdemeanors.
