Sleeping in the wrong car

A Port Chester police officer was dispatched to the Stop & Shop parking lot at 25 Waterfront Pl. after receiving a report that a man had entered a car that didn’t belong to him on Sunday, June 2.
Officers allegedly discovered Eric Labrador asleep in the front seat of the caller’s Infiniti QX6 at 3:12 p.m. According to the police report, the 38-year-old appeared drunk and believed the car was his. When he stepped out of the vehicle, he allegedly realized it wasn’t his car and was arrested.
Labrador, who did not provide officers with an address, was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle without the owner’s consent, a misdemeanor.
