Breeze Airways is expanding its service from Westchester County Airport (HPN).

Local travelers can now fly to Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Portland, Me., with returning service to Norfolk, Va., and Jacksonville, Fla. Fares on the new routes start at just $49 one way, but those low fares are promotional and have limited availability.

On Tuesday, June 25, Breeze made a further promotional fare announcement for the airline’s entire nationwide network, offering 35% off all roundtrip base fares on new reservations with the code ‘DUPE.’

Breeze began service from Westchester County in June 2022 and, in those two years, it has grown to 11 destinations, including existing nonstop service to Charleston, S.C.; Raleigh-Durham, N.C.; Savannah, Ga.; and Vero Beach, Fla. – as well as BreezeThru service to Akron/Canton, Ohio; New Orleans, La.; and West Palm Beach, Fla.

The airline defines “BreezeThru” as taking a flight that stops in another city but does not require the travelers to get off the plane until their final chosen destination.

“We continue to expand from Westchester County Airport and we’re doing so in a big way ... with four new destinations,” said Breeze Airways’ President Tom Doxey. “It’s been just two years since we launched from Westchester, but the growth has been tremendous and it’s exciting to offer 11 destinations.”

All Breeze flights out of HPN are currently on Embraer 190’s. But Ryne Williams of Breeze advises the Westmore News that by the end of 2024 all their commercial (non-charter) service will be on the new Airbus A-220-300’s. That’s the plane that for a brief time offered HPN passengers non-stop service to Los Angeles before it was redeployed to other Breeze served cities.

Prospective Breeze passengers should check the airline’s website (www.flybreeze.com) for schedules, fares, and to see whether the Breeze offerings meet their travel needs.
