Breeze Airways is reinforcing its presence at Westchester County Airport (HPN) this summer with several “seasonal” additional destinations.

As announced by Breeze’s communications team, they are:

*Raleigh-Durham, N.C. (Mon. and Fri., starting May 3, adding Wed. service from June 26 through October)

*Portland, Me. (summer seasonal, Thurs. and Sun., starting June 20, one way from $49*)

*Myrtle Beach, S.C. (Wed., Thurs., Sat. and Sun., starting June 20, one way from $59*)

*Norfolk, Va. (summer seasonal resumption, Mon. and Fri., starting June 21, one way from $59*)*Jacksonville, Fla. (summer seasonal resumption, on Tues. and Sat., starting June 22, one way from $49*).

The fares marked with an “*” are promotional, and prospective travelers should check the Breeze website (www.flybreeze.com) for clarification for their prospective needs.

What stands out in this offering is that for the first time local commercial air travelers will be able to fly non-stop from HPN to the Portland, Me. International Jetport (PWM).

Breeze is turning Portland into one of its major ‘hub” locations, and travelers there can pick up Breeze flights to Jacksonville, Orlando, and Tampa in Florida as well as other major Breeze locations including Pittsburgh, Pa. and Norfolk, Va.

When asked when (and if) Breeze would ever bring back its transcontinental A-220-300 non-stop flights from HPN to Los Angeles (LAX), Breeze spokesperson Gareth Edmondson-Jones said: “We have no news on transcon service from HPN. But excited that we're growing again from the (HPN) airport.”
