Last week, six out-of-towners were arrested for brandishing a loaded gun, fraud and more.

*Reports of a serial shoplifter brought Port Chester police officers to the Stop & Shop at 25 Waterfront Pl. on Tuesday, Nov. 19.

Police claim Guadalupe Espinoza, who employees say repeatedly steals from the store, was stopped past all points of sale with $30 worth of unpaid food at 1:48 p.m.

Officers arrived after she was detained and arrested the 52-year-old.

The New Rochelle resident was charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

According to the police report, Sandra Corraliza attempted to use a fake ID at the U.S. Alliance Federal Credit Union at 555 Boston Post Rd. to open an account at 1:48 p.m.

Police claim employees became suspicious of the 37-year-old when she displayed signs of nervousness while answering basic questions. Corraliza allegedly admitted to the ruse after they pressed her for more information about herself, and ultimately provided officers with her real identity.

While searching her purse, officers allegedly discovered a rock of crack cocaine hidden in a cigarette box.

Corraliza was charged with possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, a felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

Officers allegedly discovered Patrick Piekarski asleep at the wheel of a gray Subaru Outback parked 12 feet from the curb. Police claim the Westport, Conn., man was unable to name the village he was in.

Officers allegedly smelled the odor of alcohol on Piekarski’s breath and conducted field sobriety tests.

The 24-year-old failed the examinations, according to the police report, and a preliminary breath test detected alcohol in his system. He was arrested at 2:45 a.m.

When tested later, his blood alcohol content was revealed to be .17%, over double the legal limit of .08%.

Piekarski was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.

*While patrolling North Main Street on Sunday, Nov. 24, a Port Chester police officer was flagged down by a man who alleged someone pointed a gun at a group of people in the Marina Parking Lot.

Police claimed that at least three people reported Pablo Suazo of Yonkers pointed a black handgun at them before he left the scene in a blue Dodge Durango.

Officers pulled over a vehicle matching the description on Abendroth Avenue at 4:27 a.m.

The 30-year-old driver denied having a weapon, but officers allegedly located the black handgun under the driver’s seat. According to the police report, witnesses confirmed Suazo as the suspect.

An inspection of the weapon revealed it was loaded with seven bullets in the magazine and in the chamber, according to the police report. The police claim the serial numbers on the gun had been scraped off.

The passengers of the Dodge Durango, Bryan Cerrato Castillo, 21, and Milton Lopez Hernandez, 35, were charged with criminal possession of a defaced weapon, a felony. They are residents of Norwalk, Conn. and Queens, respectively.
