Parking lot ambush

As Port Chester police officers were patrolling Adee Street, they were flagged down by a resident to report an alleged assault on Friday, Oct. 4.

The victim claimed that while idling in his car in the parking lot on the corner of King and Adee streets, he was suddenly attacked by a man at 1:46 a.m.

According to the police report, the assault left the victim with various lacerations on his head and a cracked windshield, causing $850 worth of damage to the car.

During the interaction, police claim Christian Hernandez left a nearby nightclub and the victim pointed him out as the perpetrator. The 30-year-old allegedly walked up to officers and admitted to being the attacker.

The 35 Glen Ave. resident was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, a felony, and assault in the third degree, a misdemeanor.
