A patrolling Rye Brook police officer allegedly witnessed a driver make a right turn from Crescent Place onto South Ridge Street without using a proper signal on Sunday, Oct. 6.
The officer performed a traffic stop on Robert Halguin at 3:07 p.m. and a routine background check revealed the 46-year-old allegedly didn’t have a driver’s license and his privilege to drive had been suspended, leading to his arrest.
The 58 Prospect St. resident was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor.
