Reports of a man breaking a window at a restaurant brought Port Chester police officers to El Callejon at 540 Willett Ave. on Sunday, Oct. 20.

They arrived at 1:13 a.m. to find the shattered pane and Angel Paz Revolorio lying down outside. The restaurant owner alleged the man was an employee of the eatery but arrived late for his shift and appeared drunk.

Paz Revolorio tried to buy alcohol but was refused service and asked to leave.

According to the police report, the 33 Riverdale Ave. resident left after an argument ensued, but returned five minutes later with a wooden plank and shattered the large storefront window.

Paz Revolorio, who was detained by witnesses until officers arrived, allegedly caused $4,800 worth of damage to the building.

The 37-year-old was charged with criminal mischief in the second degree, a felony.
