A 145 N. Ridge St. woman was arrested by Rye Brook police officers on Tuesday, Sept. 17, for allegedly assaulting her neighbor.

According to Lieutenant J. Arnold, officers responded to the home after receiving a call about the dispute at 7:07 p.m. There, they allegedly found Jennifer Anderson arguing with her neighbor across the property line.

The situation escalated, and as an officer attempted to separate the two by stepping in between them, the 44-year-old allegedly became disruptive and struck the victim several times.

Police claim Anderson became uncooperative and resisted arrest when they tried to detain her.

She was charged with assault in the third degree, resisting arrest and obstruction of governmental administration, all misdemeanors.
