Anjolie Alexander smiles as her father Titus is given the honor of pinning her Rye Brook police badge to her chest after officially being sworn in on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at Rye Brook Village Hall. Titus also works as a patrol officer with the Rye Brook Police Department, and the two have made history being the only father-daughter pair of active South Indian police officers working in the same department.

Though she was born and raised in Pelham, Anjolie Alexander has spent plenty of time in the Village of Rye Brook, accompanying her father Titus to events. For the past 17 years, she’s watched her father dedicate himself to the community as an officer with the Rye Brook Police Department. And it was an influence that clearly rubbed off on her.
