Appropriately dressed as Chucky, Sophia Castro, 8, poses with the doll that was voted creepiest in an online poll created by the Port Chester Historical Society on Halloween in a secret side room on the second floor of the Bush-Lyon Homestead in Lyon Park. The Park Avenue School third-grader was awarded naming rights for the creepy toy.

Through most of October, the Port Chester Historical Society held a vote—asking folks to weigh in on several dolls found in the Bush-Lyon Homestead in Lyon Park. The vote wasn’t for which doll was the cutest or which had the best fashion sense, far from it—it was for which was the creepiest.
