A section of the men’s restroom is currently closed off to visitors to Rye Town Park. The Rye Town Park Commission is looking to completely renovate the interior of the bathhouse as part of a long-term restoration project for the entire building.

However, it’s been a long-term commitment for the Park Commission. In fact, less than 10 years ago, the building nestled between the parking lot and pond was in a condition that could have shut the park down.
