As part of her rental agreement to use the kitchen in the Crawford Mansion Community Center, professional chef Cara Tannenbaum will be teaching occasional free cooking classes for Rye Town residents. The first class will be held on Wednesday, Apr. 17, with more to be scheduled at a later date.

Cara Tannenbaum certainly knows her way around a kitchen. She’s been a professional chef for decades, having privately catered events with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, and has served as both an instructor and administrator at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City.
