The new addition to Ridge Street Elementary School stands majestically at the start of the 2023-24 school year, but it’s hard to forget the fiasco of a saga it took to get the building up. The Blind Brook School District officially commenced a lawsuit on Friday, Jan. 19, seeking justice against the construction firms it blames for sabotaging the $44.7 million bond project.
