Welcoming the ancestors of the past and kin of the future, Joan Grangenois-Thomas pours libations onto the grass near the Bush Lyon Homestead on June 19 to kick off the annual Port Chester Juneteenth celebration. A Village trustee, she helped found the celebration with the local Historical Society.
