World Language expands across Port Chester Schools

K-12 flow enriches to give more students access to bilingualism

Given the diverse backgrounds encompassing Port Chester Schools’ student body, Spanish is everywhere across the majority Hispanic district. Whether it’s chatter in the halls or instruction in the classroom, students who are both new to the language and speaking it at home are heavily exposed. So, it’s no surprise to see the district emphasize priority toward language acquisition education—especially since Fall 2021, when an influx in state aid started to reform the schools by facilitating long-desired enhancements.
