Days before graduation, BBHS seniors take a walk down memory lane at Ridge Street School
As Takashi Kimura walked through the halls of Ridge Street Elementary School, he was filled with mixed emotions. “It’s definitely a little sad, because it might be the last time I’m here,” he said. “But it feels amazing to walk through here again.” He was one of the 60 now-graduated Blind Brook High School Class of 2024 members who participated in the district’s first Senior Walk, an event where departing students looked back on how they’ve grown by taking a trip to their elementary school in their caps and gowns.
