Though the New York State budget was finally approved three weeks after its Apr. 1 deadline, the Port Chester School District—with heavy reliance on state aid—beat them to the punch by adopting its own 2024-25 spending plan after months of Board of Education deliberation on Apr. 16, without concrete funding info at hand.
