Karen Vitti is entering her second year in the Blind Brook School District as the new director of pupil services. Her promotion follows the retirement of Harry Burg, who stepped down in June after 16 years in the district.

When Karen Vitti took the job of assistant director of pupil services at the Blind Brook School District in November 2023, she had been looking forward to what the new job would bring. She had been growing accustomed to the role, but Harry Burg’s retirement at the end of the 2023-24 year gave her the sudden opportunity to take on a new position in the district.
