Doing tricks and howling for treats

Giving her butterfly wings a try, Sadie the 2-year-old beagle jumps while her owner Julia Short, a 23-year-old Rye Brook resident, walks her through the Howl-o-ween costume contest course at Pine Ridge Park on Saturday, Oct. 26. Co-hosted by the Village of Rye Brook and the Humane Society of Westchester, the annual event brought out dozens of dogs dressed for the spooky season.
