After nine years as principal and 18 years as an educator, Judy Diaz will be leaving John F. Kennedy School at the end of the school year. She resigned to take a position at the Mamaroneck School District as director of multilingual programs.

Judy Diaz has always been there enthusiastically cheering fifth-graders on at the end of the year as they ceremoniously move up from John F. Kennedy Elementary School to become middle schoolers. But this year the sentiments hit a little differently because she’s graduating with them.
